Narrative
Trictenotomidae are a family of beetles found in the vicinity of the Himalayas, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, and Borneo. Although the antennae and mandible suggest a Prionidae or Lucanidae, these beetles belong in the Heteromera group with Tenebrionidae and other related families. There are very few species in this family.
