Narrative
Hermit Crabs (Family Diogenidae) contains many species of crabs that are adapted to living in a variety of enclosures. Some species have coiled abdomens that permit the crab to live in gastropod shells. Other species have straightened abdomens for fitting into rock crevices. The Diogenidae Family is closely related to the Paguridae Family.
