Narrative
Water Scorpion family (Family Nepidae) contains some species that resemble walking sticks. However, walking sticks eat vegetation, and water scorpions prey upon small fish, tadpoles, and other insects. When attacking these scorpions first inject an anesthetic, and then use their hollow beak to suck the body juices from their prey. Their syringe-like beaks can puncture human skin.
