Narrative

Caddis flies (Order Trichoptera) resemble both moths and Neuroptera. Caddis flies have hair on their wings. The larvae are aquatic. There are about 4,500 species worldwide and about 1,000 species in North America. The North American species can be divided into about 18 families.
